Welcome to the website for Bay Professional Photographer's Association.  We are a group of Professional Photographers in the Sarasota and surrounding areas of Florida.  We welcome all types of phtographers and students of all levels to come and see what we are about.  Our meetings are held once a month on the Second Monday of each month.  If you are a Professional Photographer and would like to find out more, please email our Membership Director for more information.

During a typical Guild Meeting, we have some social time where we get to see all of our friends and make new ones, then we have dinner.  Our current Guild Home is the Hilton Garden Inn on Tamiami Trail.  Here we have our monthly meetings.  After dinner, there is the educational Program given by a fellow Professional Photographer.  Normally, these are people who stand out in the industry, be it for marketing prowess, photography skill, or many other criteria.  The programs are chosen to help educate and inspire our members to become better photographers and business people.  Our goal is to be the standard that drives the Photographic Industry.

Three times a year we have Juried Image Competitions, or Salons.  This is where the real learning comes in.  Your images can be critiqued by Professional Photographers with years of experience and during the process you will find out what it takes to create better photographs.  There's also awards and degrees that go along with competition.
