Anywhere, Anytime, All the Time Version II
Location lighting
Christine Reynolds, M.Photog. CPP, FDPE, FED, MBA
I believe there are five factors in creating a great image. 1) Lighting, 2) Composition, 3) Focus, 4) Exposure and 5) Timing and they should be solved in that order. Lighting is the most important, most difficult and truly differentiates professional photography.
Location lighting has the most variables and possibilities. We need to understand what defines good location lighting. If you don't know what is good you can't create it.
After we define what we are trying to do then we will cover How to find it, modify it and or create it from scratch using reflectors/ Light modifiers, ETTL Speed lights, Pocket wizard controlled battery powered lights and Mono Lights.
